POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW

A postdoctoral research position is available to join the Department of pharmacological Science, studying the effects of epigenetic and chromatin remodeling in cardiovascular diseases using gene therapy and small compounds. The outstanding and highly motivated postdoc will have an opportunity to design research projects that leverage cutting-edge –omics approaches, knock out mice, heart and lung imaging, next generation sequencing techniques, gene expression and epigenetics regulation analysis, including whole genome and at single cell level. The highly motivated and dedicated individuals with a strong interest in epigenetic and gene expression, technical skills in biochemistry and some aspects of molecular and cellular biology are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications: Applicants must hold a PhD degree or the equivalent in biochemistry or molecular and cellular biology or related fields with research accomplishments. The highly motivated candidate should exhibit independence, and must be skillful in common cellular/biology techniques, or epigenetics with good communication/presentation skills.
